I've enjoyed this a suprisingly large amount for a 50 cent game. I don't know that I'll go back and play it again but I think it's hard to go wrong with this for the same cost as a single round of pinball. I'd recommend it well enough.. refund speedrun. yikes! definitely not worth the 20 dollars you would pay for the full game and dlc, not even worth the 2 dollars when they are on sale, you could buy 2 cokes for that much, and atleast they would provide a modicum of enjoyment. the only value this game would provide is how NOT to make a game, i hope this is the devs first, and last game.. Great one, one of the best basic tower D game for less than $1. It's fun. A new twist on tower defense, with ships and aquatic maps. You can do upgrades, both temporary, during each game, as well as long term, permanent ones, as you win levels.. Well this is a classic tower defense game, nothing fancy but good enough, requires some tinkering to win them all, has a lot of levels with nice variety in difficulty etc.pros:+good pass time+involves some rpg+solid number of different towers+lots of levels with different routes/layouts+bonus story/content/levels+nice difficulty bar+steam achievements+steam trading cardscons:-graphically feels really old, runs smooth but its more of a pixalated strech then anything else, DSR fixed it slightly-after upgrading to the max some of the towers you can power through anything-no shortcuts-sound and music is awfull, muted both and played my ownOn a discount this is a solid pick for someone who likes tower defense games, or occassional pass time.Overall 5/10. Recommended on discount price.. Highly addivtictive tower defense game. But some towers are acting retard (ie when an enemy is right in front of them whereas they prefer to send rockets to another one that's miles away. Very well implemented upgrade system. Visuals are also nice.A note to developer:Dear dev, I don't know if you ever encountered before but let me tell you this. There's this "ESC" key and it's been a global pause\/quit function key since the invention of computers. Please, but please, do assign this key as a defauls pause\/quit function key for this little game also.Sincerely, iaLiN.. simply game but intrsting for me. A rather dull reinvention (or should i better say reskin?) of always the same game engine from this developer.The enemy waves are very unbalanced. To get three star rating in every level you have to grind A LOT, wich meanchs playing the same boring levels over and over and over and over and over again. The loading takes forever and the loading screen itself is still in a 4:3 ratio. The backgrounds are completely static and the animation of the enemies is overly simple. The music sounds like 8 Bit or 12 Bit in sound quality and there is only a handfull of sound effects.Why would you play this, when you can play any of the Kingdom Rush series?The only positive about it is that achievements are relatively easy to accomplish. 50% of them can be done in the first level and you will get all of them soon before even thinking about completing the whole game. This itself is no achievement. Thank god.PS: Yes, it's true. This is a reskin of another review of mine for a evenso reskinned interpretation of the same engine from this developer. Same rights for everyone i guess ... ;)
